Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 16, 2026
Personal Broadcast Recorder is a non-commercial tool used by a single individual to privately archive selected livestreams on the individual's own YouTube channel.
Google user data accessed
With the operator's authorization, the tool accesses YouTube account/channel identity, uploads videos to the operator's channel, and reads video upload and processing status. It uses the Google OAuth authorization credentials required to perform these actions.
Use and storage
Google authorization credentials are stored locally on the operator's privately managed server, not in this public website. Recorded videos and upload metadata are processed and stored locally as needed for recording, verification, retries, and retention. This website does not collect visitor accounts, passwords, OAuth tokens, or website analytics.
Sharing
Video files are transferred to YouTube to create private uploads at the operator's request. The system can send text notifications and links through the operator's private Telegram channels. Google OAuth tokens are not shared with Telegram or other external parties.
Retention and deletion
The operator controls local recordings and upload metadata and can remove them. Access can be revoked from the Google Account's third-party connections settings. Revoking authorization stops future YouTube API access by the tool but does not automatically delete videos previously uploaded to YouTube; those can be deleted through YouTube Studio.
Changes
Any material change to data use will be reflected in an updated privacy policy on this page.
